    Antique Cast Iron Victorian House Bank
    by JE Stevens, circa 1892
    This is an old Cast Iron Victorian House Coin Bank made by J.E. Stevens, from 1892. (Schiffer, The Penny Bank Book).
    The bank is in original condition with smooth cast iron surfaces and great patina.  There is rubbing of the original gold paint mostly at the bases.  We have not opened the bank up since the latch is very tight.  It may open after oiling.
    Overall measurements are
    4 1/2 x 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 inches.
    This bank is in very good condition without cracks or breaks.
