NOS Lg. Beautiful Silver Overlaid concho plates for bridles/breast collars etc.

Beautiful NOS silver overlaid concho plates for your headstall, bridle, or breast collars etc. Any craft that you can think of really. I've used many of them over the years and they've all performed wonderfully. They are nice and thick but you can gently bend them to fit a browband as well. They are large at 41/2" long by 1 1/8 at the widest point. The prongs are substantial and will NOT break off unless you're very careless. In all installations of these I never had a prong break. These were Champion Turf designed but only stamped Mexico Silver Overlaid.
Please note these are not silver plated, they're silver overlaid plates. Overlaid is much higher quality and won't ever chip or peel. They polish up just like sterling. I recommend Mr. Metal. It's all I use. These will need a bit of buffing. You'll receive TWO plates per order. I have 4 sets total available.
Some are intimidated by how to affix these silver plates to their project. Measure and know your placement, then set the piece on the leather where you want to affix it. Press down on plate making dents in the leather where you want to hole punch. Taa Daa, punch your holes at all your marks then insert prongs through each hole. Check for level, then using a flat point screwdriver and hammer, tape the flat point in between the two prongs to open them up. Then using the side of the flat point bend one prong west and the other east, get them as flat as possible with screwdriver against the leather then lightly tap with hammer on each prong to get them as flat and smooth as desired. It really is quite simple and once done you never have to worry about them again. Hope this helps anyone that's never done it before.
