    Description

    This is a genuine "1862 Merriam Trade Mark" metal cash box. Gold and thin red pin stripping around the top. Opens easily, hinge is in great shape but there is no key for the box. It measures approx. 9.5" L x 6.25" W x 3.5" H. This box is probably from mid 1940s to early 1950s. It has one small spot of rust on the top and scratches on multiple surfaces (including former owners names scratched on the bottom). Please see photos for more details of condition.
